Your Solo Safety Net Checklist

Living alone doesn't mean doing everything yourself. It means knowing who you can count on for the moments that matter.

This one's simple: five slots, five names. Who has your spare key? Who could get you to a doctor's appointment if you couldn't drive yourself home? Who knows your pet's routine if you got stuck somewhere overnight?

Mine lives on my fridge. Partly so I see it and remember which roles I still need to fill, and partly so if I'm traveling, whoever's checking on my cat or my home has everything they need in one place, no digging through texts to find a name.

It also doubles as a quiet way to track your own life. When my neighbor moved out recently, I knew immediately I had a role to refill, because it was sitting right there on my fridge, unnamed.

Print it, fill it in, and put it somewhere you'll actually see it.
